"If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you." Zig Ziglar

My horsemanship started as a young girl with books, movies, and magazines. I absorbed any information I got my hands on and learned as much as I could about horses. I worked as a small animal veterinary assistant in hopes of becoming a veterinarian someday! My path took a different turn when I decided to attend an International Equestrian School in Waverly, WV. I graduated with certifications in teaching, training, and the highest level of riding. I then began my career as a horsewoman.

Over the last 11 years, I have evolved my horsemanship by working out of several barns throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and California as a graduate assistant, working student, instructor, rider, and trainer. I have worked for and with breeders, hunter-jumpers, and world renowned dressage riders. Following formal employment in the horse industry I moved on to helping private clients develop their horses. I've also invested a small fortune in continuing education through constant reading, riding clinics with influencers such as Mary Wanless, Monet Ward, Jennifer R. Roth, and Daniel Stewart in addition to online programs and memberships, and teacher training courses.

In my recent years, after feeling unsatisfied with where my horsemanship was heading, I finally found my true path and turned to positive reinforcement training. Armed with knowledge and experience on how behavior science can be applied to help unify horses and humans, I am eager to offer my services to others who may be struggling with their current training methods or would like to elevate their relationship with their horse. I am also pursuing an International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants Certification. This means I have access to constant support and education from the leading experts in the field of animal behavior, which I use to help clients while I pursue my certification.

If you find yourself unsatisfied with or would like to enrich the relationship you have with your horse, contact me. I have been where you are and can get you to where you'd like you and your horse to be; together in unity.
